Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. It's based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.
An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning ``truth is my identity.`` The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
Self-care rituals heal and calm our mental, emotional, and physical states and is key to improved mood and reduced anxiety. Rituals are tools that give us the freedom to take responsibility for the direction and purpose of our lives. Our task is to seize and shape this freedom—consciously, deliberately, and joyfully.
However individualized our yoga practices may be, having a yoga community is important for union and connection. Using sound, mantra, energy healing, exercises and meditations together we amplify our effectiveness as a whole to release trauma from the energetic body, and in turn, the physical body.
Our Mission at 40 Day Rituals is to help people create long lasting wellness in a real and attainable way using the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga and the healing wisdom of Ayurveda. We provide a unique experience that helps to build a solid and stable foundation for optimal, long lasting success. These rituals are designed for everyone to practice and incorporate daily, at any stage of life. We want to share these gifts and help support you to experience and live as your best self.
We truly believe that in order for healing to take place on a global scale we must start the healing from within ourself, this is our greatest mission at 40 Day Rituals. Our individual joy and radiance effects the state of peace and compassion on the earth. It all begins from within!
To master the effects of a meditation and a healing routine. practice it as a sadhana, a daily discipline, this will develop a life-promoting habit. Habit controls us so much that it is said that we can actually change our destiny by changing our habits. According to yogic science, the human mind works in cycles. We can use various cycles to help replace unwanted patterns of behavior (mental or emotional habits) with new, more positive ones. When one commits to a particular meditation or kriya for a specific time, we recommend 40 because it takes 40 days to change a habit.
In order to thrive and live life with joy, we believe that every person needs to practice self care. Self care is more than getting an occasional massage or going to the spa. Self care is a commitment and a devotion to practicing the daily routines that support the deep connection between you and your soul. It is showing up for yourself so that you can show up for others and support the elevation of humanity. 40 Day Rituals provides the tools to help you establish healthy, practical and important self care rituals.
Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of India and one of the oldest systems of Health Care in the world. A system of both preventative and curative medicine, Ayurveda translates into the “science of life”. It is an all encompassing approach to a healthy lifestyle, with practices aimed at restoring the balance and harmony of the entire individual. Using a combination of food, yoga meditation, massage and all-natural herbal-based remedies in-line with your body type and personality, resulting in restored health, vitality, calm and longevity is at the core of this healing modality.
Ayurveda is everything encompassed in the 5 great elements; Air, Ether, Fire, Water and Earth, reflecting from the environment into the body through which we are able to understand the individual as a whole.
The journey to health and balanced living is a life changing experience and a life long gift. With the tools given to us throughout the ages, passed down from master to student, Ayurveda serves all in the here and now.
Kundalini Yoga precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. It brings total balance to all aspects of your being.
Kundalini compliments the tools and lifestyle practices of Ayurveda perfectly.
Onkar and Hari have beautiful souls and they truly care about each individual's personal meditation journey. They are always happy to educate and provide more insight into the movements, ayruveda rituals, and spiritual aspects of each program. I sought out their course during a dark time in my life, and I truly believe that their program helped contribute to be coming out happier on the other side.

I met Hari in a yoga class and was instantly attracted to her loving, calm demeanor. We started talking and I learned that she was an ayurvedic practitioner and that ayurveda is helpful in healing digestion and elimination problems. I have suffered for years with these ailments and started to see her. I can't begin to express how grateful I am for that encounter in the yoga class. Working with Hari was life changing. I was grateful for her gentle approach and intuitive nature. As most of us know, changing our diet and life-style can be very difficult, but Hari took me through changes in an appropriate pace, in which I was comfortable. Her knowledge of Ayurvedic science, diet and lifestyle is vast and she used this knowledge in conjunction with her strong intuitive nature to help me and my digestive system begin to heal. As I move through life, I continue to follow the dietary and lifestyle recommendations that she recommended. I hear her voice, and her words of inspiration which still remain a core part of my continued journey to heal. I am forever grateful to Hari.

I had a very memorable experience exploring Ayurveda with Hari Simran. After being diagnosed with a couple different digestive conditions a few years back, I reached out to Hari in hopes to adopt wholistic treatments for my ailments. Doctors told me there were no cures to my diagnosed conditions. I was very discouraged. Hari made me feel very comfortable, as she always created a warm environment of compassion and care. She was always willing to answer any of my questions, and provided me with the ab-solute best advice. Her heart-centered approach to wellness helped me connect with the healing of my mind, body, and soul. Through deep compassion and Ayurvedic wisdom, Hari guided me to overcome ailments that doctors told me I would live with for the rest of my life. I have the upmost gratitude for Hari's guidance and her warm teachings of Ayurveda.

I’ve followed Onkar for four years and she is the living embodiment of what she teaches. There’s a genuine love, wisdom and truth in her teaching and often laughter. I get a giant boost of ‘Kundalini endorphins’ after her class and I’m able to bring that with me, out into the world.

Hari Simran Kaur is the guardian angel of my health! Not only is she a brilliant practi-tioner, she has a huge heart and truly cares. Prior to starting work with her, my health was on the decline. Years of traveling 200,000 plus air miles a year for my sales train-ing business and musical endeavors were taking a major toll. Under her guidance and loving care, and by the Grace of Guru Ram Das ji, I have been returned to radiant good health. I now feel like my best years are still ahead of me!
